Good morning principal, vice principal, students and teachers, of Anglican High.My speech today will be on whether the school should provide more varieties of cca for students.

Firstly,I strongly believe that the number of CCAs in our school,especially the sports category should be increased.One reason is because students that are talented in some common sport or CCA in their primary school are unable to continue their sport or CCA in secondary school.Some of the most common sports include:Soccer,track and field.These students will not be able to excel in the sport they are talented in.
I believe the limited varieties of CCAs is one of the reasons why some primary school students are unwilling to go to our school.

Secondly,I feel that the number of CCAs in our school are "miserable" compared to other schools in Singapore.(For example Victoria Secondary has 14 types of clubs and societies for students to join, while Chung Cheng High Secondary has 7, compared to our school who has 5.)I believe that all of you have heard that we are the top 15% in Singapore,no matter studies or CCAs.However since the number of CCA are limited, how far can we excel?

Therefore,I strongly urged the school to provide a wider variety of CCAs to students, not only for the sake of the students but also for itself.

First week was great. Best so far.

Monday:Got back 3 tests scripts. I did really well, not managing to pass a single one. A-Maths being my best at 4/20 (20/100) to neutralise with the 20/20, an expected 12.5/30 for chinese comprehension, and finally, my strongest subject Geography got 9/25,which is about 36/100 without the bonus marks, Cy did real badly this time, what a loser.
3 papers flunked in a row, not that good for just 1 day.

Tuesday:My streak of great results continues, 4 in a row, breaking my all time record of continueous flunked test.This time, an 11/25 for Physics, Huayu got the same score as me, cool, though i did wanted to do better than him. I still haven't go for a Physics Enrichment programme to improve physics, which is one of my strongest subjects, maybe I'll go this thursday.Unfortuanately, most streaks are meant to be ended, and this had to be one of them. Like the time Arsenal went 49 matches unbeaten till they got kicked by Manchester United 2-0
.Chemistry came back, 24/40, I didn't flunk it. I wasn't disappointed, I knew it was going to stop one day. Then it became worse. Although it's not really a test, Chinese zuo wen came back,48/70. Despite that, I "improved" from my 50/70 and I got more corrections to do, 2 more compared to my previous zuo wen. I'm going to do another one soon, one different from the few i done previously, and another chinese test tommorow. I'm going to start studying soon, to get a better score. So wish me good luck guys.

Haven't post in awhile because I had nothing to post about.

This week was long, longer than the previous week. I don't know why, but it just felt like that. I thought it was thursday when it was just tuesday.haha.

Went to play soccer with Matthew,Ryan,Raymond,Mingswee,Fuseng,JingLu,CherYong and Hongkai today at MatthewPark(Melville Park). It was kinda fun, until other people joined in, can't remember all their names(as in the names on their shirt), just YanHao(7) and Horse(14). They were good. So they kinda thrashed us.

When we were going home, something interesting happened. Really interesting.While we were waiting for the bus, we were playing with the ball. The ball rolled onto the road by accident, and Jinglu had to jump onto the road to retrieve it. He JUMPED, and when he landed, he slipped and started to slide towards the road. Like going for a slide tackle, and luckily, stopped right in front of an accelerating car. Wow. How smart, he could've died if he slide abit more in front, or probably get his legs ran over by a car. I was like "oh my god,what the fuck?!''. He probably didn't even know what happened until we(me and cheryong) told him, cause he was whining about the pain on his butt, and the blood on his leg. Narrow Escape.
