Good morning principal, vice principal, students and teachers, of Anglican High.My speech today will be on whether the school should provide more varieties of cca for students.

Firstly,I strongly believe that the number of CCAs in our school,especially the sports category should be increased.One reason is because students that are talented in some common sport or CCA in their primary school are unable to continue their sport or CCA in secondary school.Some of the most common sports include:Soccer,track and field.These students will not be able to excel in the sport they are talented in.
I believe the limited varieties of CCAs is one of the reasons why some primary school students are unwilling to go to our school.

Secondly,I feel that the number of CCAs in our school are "miserable" compared to other schools in Singapore.(For example Victoria Secondary has 14 types of clubs and societies for students to join, while Chung Cheng High Secondary has 7, compared to our school who has 5.)I believe that all of you have heard that we are the top 15% in Singapore,no matter studies or CCAs.However since the number of CCA are limited, how far can we excel?

Therefore,I strongly urged the school to provide a wider variety of CCAs to students, not only for the sake of the students but also for itself.
